Just a general Guide I need,

Hi there
is it possible to password protect the VB Editor and/or its scripts?
I do not want my VB scripts to be changed or modified so easily by everybody.

Hi there
I am trying to use a probe sensor in order to set the tool height in my Tool bank, how this can be done?
Do I have to run this macro right after my m6 Macro?
Also how can I update my Tool Bank, after any reading of the tool height?
Finally any advice on the macro codes is really appreciated

General Mach Discussion / Cannot connect to my BOB from mach3
« on: April 30, 2018, 03:10:44 PM »
Hi there
I am trying to install my 3 phase Spindle using a Delta 7.5 KW Inverter.
At the moment I can connect to output1 of my BOB(Smooth Stepper) Trough Mach3 by pressing the (Spindle CW F5) Button of Mach3, as the result The corresponding Light In front of it (Output1 on my BOB, I am attaching a Picture of it) will light Up. In the picture Output1 corresponds to O1. Also I can connect it to my Inverter, therefore I can Tun/stop Spindle from mach3.

But I just cannot light up the PWM corresponding Light in my BOB from Mach3
What is it wrong in my mach3 setup? Presently I am dedicating Output1 to Run and/or Stop the spindle, but also, I think I am trying to use the same output1 to connect to my PWM , I really cannot figure it out, any advice is greatly appreciated.

General Mach Discussion / wait action in macros
« on: April 28, 2018, 11:59:04 PM »
Hi there

I am wondering what all these wait moves really mean, and how and where should they be used.
I know that they are being used for causing some delays or wait action in macros while some other things are happening.
But what is the difference between the following, that I see in different macros;

Code "G4 P1.0"
While IsMoving()
Wend
WaitForMove        (is this a valid wait command or code?)
Sleep(1000)

« on: April 26, 2018, 02:08:49 PM »
Hi there

I am trying to change my axis, through hotkeys but nothing is happening.
what i want to do is change my left and right to be my Y axis, and up and down arrow to be my X axis, Is this possible?
What I did was going Config>System Hotkeys>and I press X++>"SetHotKeys"> Then I press the Up arrow, but nothing happens.
What is it that I need to do?

General Mach Discussion / Missing codes in auto tool changer
« on: April 22, 2018, 03:45:08 PM »
Hi there
I was going over the auto Tool changer codes “M6Start”, and It appears to me that some codes are missing there, as the codes executing, and after Calling the MovePos() subroutine, it moves to the position of the Old Tool coordinates and then it goes down to ("G53 Z" & ToolDown ) So far so good, but then before releasing the old tool, Shouldn’t it to move forward or backward let’s say a value of 50 mm in order to basically force in or slide in the collet chuck to the Collet chuck Holder (that plastic u shape chuck holder in an array of let’s say 8 tool Holder) then releasing the old tool?
And similar action on new tool pick up procedure?

General Mach Discussion / Issues on referencing my Y axis
« on: April 19, 2018, 10:49:37 AM »
Hi there
I am putting together a 2*5 - meter Wood Cutting router using 750 w delta Servo Motors and ASDA B2 Drivers, The Controller is Mach3 (I am attaching the Picture of it). In this Controller the Y axis is called X therefore, my 2 motors for moving the Y axis is called X1, and X2 in this controller which is no problem so far, should mention that I do not need to slave X1 to X2 or Vice versa, because they actually rotate the Motors in Opposite direction, which is cool.
Everything was working fine, and at my first trial I moved the Motors very smoothly and nicely. I started the referencing process, and everything referenced rather nicely, and I moved to calibration Process, and everything was going fine. But at the end of the day I noticed one of my long axis, Y (which is being powered or moved by two servo Motors X1, x2) motors is lagging slightly. I thought that I should Tight up My Gantry Screws and bolts, which I did the next day, but at a little later time when I tried to reference the Axis, I noticed that My Y axis is not referencing properly, and after moving a little it stops before it reaches my Inductive Home switch, and then it continues to reference my X axis.

After Many Trial
My Z axis Reference properly
My Y Axis Stops before reaching my Home switch
My X axis Reference Properly

Should mention that My Y axis occasionally referenced properly, but at next trial It again stopped before reaching my Home switch, and at each Trial it traveled a different distance before stopping, and as I tried more it traveled less distance before stopping. And at some Trial one of my Y axis Motors Lagged rather drastically, and a little short circuit at X1 Motor connections happened, which caused me to turn off the Machine, and re wired that connection (My X1 Motor)

I wonder what could be the cause of it;
1: Could it be because of my faulty cables going to Servo motor from my driver? But if I have a faulty wire or cable or the Motor itself, shouldn’t I get some warning and/or alarm coding from my Drivers? Because I do not get any alarm from my drivers
2: The most suspicious Item to me is my Controller, I think my X1 Plugin is not working properly. Each Plugin contains 4 wires (Direction –) (Direction +) (Pulse –) (Pulse +) Line drive 5V
Any recommendation greatly appreciated

General Mach Discussion / How to Install an auto tool changer
« on: March 25, 2018, 12:38:41 PM »
Hi there

I am trying to Install a CC Auto tool changer Spindle Model (MHS72-7512FSF).

What I like to know is What hard ware do I need to have? , and what steps do I need to take in order to do so?

Please be noted that this my first attempt to install a Spindle with ATC, I installed a Manual spindle before, BUT ATC I am a Newbie.
