Mach3 under Vista / another ref all home problem
« on: April 23, 2017, 06:18:19 AM »
My "reference all home" starts OK, the Z axis moves down to the micro switch, stops, a "Home switch triggered" message comes up and that's it. No more action. I had this exact problem previously when using another PC which has now expired. The problem was there for a while and then magically corrected itself. Or maybe I stumbled across the working combination of settings. I have reloaded Mach3 on a replacement PC.
With the "Home switch triggered" message up I can jog off the switch, the yellow indicator on the diagnostic page goes out, but the "Home switch triggered" message remains. I have to hit the reset button twice before "ref all home" will start again to repeat that one movement. I've checked everything I can think of. I used screen shots of my last working system to get "Ports and pins" and the "Homing and limits" settings the same. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
