Mach4 General Discussion / DRO Bug

My machine is Metric and I have Mach4 is set to MM. Mach and the machine run both metric and inch programes without any problems (so far).

However the only niggle I have, is with the MM/IN indicators in the Axis DRO display.

When running an Inch program and any axis display is stationary, then the indicator displays "in" correctly, but as soon as an axis starrts to move, only that axis indicator flashes from "mm" to "in" rapidly, the stationary DROs remain correctly at "in".

The actual DROs continue to read correctly in "Inch" when this is happening.

Mach4 General Discussion / Tool Path Window Blank

Hi All,

As you can see from the Screen shot, the main Tool Path Window is blank, but the Tool Path Ops window is displaying as it should (It's in Demo mode untill I sort this issue out).
I've uninstalled and re installed several times and various builds, but thay all now behave the same, even though at one time (Before I tried the latest build I think) Mach 4 was working as expected.
Could well be a Win10 update that has caused the problem and will not affect the computer that I use to run my machine, because It's not connected to the net, but I would like Mach 4 to run on this computer as it used to.
Any Ideas?

Mach4 General Discussion / Mach4 not Seeing ESS

Hi once again,

Mach4 was working ok, but then shut down GUI not responding and now the Ess doesn't appear in the configuration list.

I've uninstalled a couple of times and re- installed the latest and previous builds of Mach4 with no joy.

The computer is communicating ok with the Ess after running the configuration utility from Warp9 and everything was fine until Windows shut Mach down.

Any suggestions please.

Mach4 General Discussion / Mach4 Program Hanging at M3

Hi all,

Just got my new Syil X5 Plus up and running with Mach4 and ESS.
Problem is, when I try to run a test program generated by Mill Wizard, the program starts ok but only gets as far as a M3 comand and the machine just sits there with the spindle running! I then have to "press" the program Stop button and then re-press the program Run button for it to continue past the M3 command.
Any Ideas?
