« on: July 08, 2017, 11:56:55 AM »
Try to be short and precise as possible.

running Mach3 2.0 on a Velox CNC with 4th axis indexer. Problem is the 4th axis is turning extremely slow when running gcode. It is turning so slow that instread of cutting the wood piece it's burning it. any advice on how to adjust the speed of the indexer?

Hello. I'm new to MACH4 and I am having a problem with it carving backwards.  For example If I try to V-carve the word "THE" it is carved on the board as "EHT". so what I have to do is flip the text in aspire to say "EHT" for it to carve corretly.  Any suggestions??

Mach4 General Discussion / parallel port timeout
« on: December 20, 2015, 01:02:48 AM »
I am currently running a demo version of MACH4 using a parallel port driver. I am about to purchase the software but I am having a problem. I am generating Gcode that is less than 500 lines and while running the code my machine just stops. it may stop on line 130 and the next time it stops on line 300 of the code. when it stops I loose control of the machine. I can move anything on the X.Y. or Z axis. the only way I can move the axises is if I completely restart MACH4.

Can someone tell me what could possibly be happening? Is it a parallel port setting that i need to change or something?
