Mach3 and G-Rex / Feed Rate Overide on G100
« on: August 26, 2007, 08:22:07 AM »
Hi all,
I have one last thing to do on my G100 installation. That is to be able to use a FRO potentiometer. I connect a pot between GND and a 5V pin on the G100. The pot slider goes to Analog input 1. The G100 monitor in Mach3 indicates the input varying between 0v and 4.98v. But I cant fathom how to get the value into Mach3.
What am I missing?

General Mach Discussion / Seeking another G100
« on: August 08, 2007, 09:28:15 PM »
Hi all,
I notice with disappointment that there are members of the forum who
are giving up on their G100. I am in need of a second G100 for a test
bed, but as a hobbyist I really cannot justify buying a second G100 at
full price.
Is there anyone out there want to sell their G100 and ship to
Melbourne, Australia?

My current G100 is driving a X3 mill and except for the occasional
first time start connection problem, it seems to work OK.

Regards
John

Newfangled Solutions Mach3 Wizards / NewFangled Screen Size
« on: August 21, 2006, 08:19:13 AM »
Hi to all,
I have searched this forum and don't see a mention of my problem. The latest versions of the NewFangled wizards seem to be too large for my 1024 x 768 screen. It used to fit but the bottom buttons are now off screen with the newest releases.
Can I change the sizing myself?  When I try to use screen4 it asks for a password.
Alternatively I have done something stoopid...

Help....

General Mach Discussion / CMD-260 drives
« on: April 19, 2006, 07:21:46 AM »
Hi Everyone,

My system finally operational, with only a few details to complete (see photos under cnc_oz).
However I have had a bit of bad luck in that one of my controllers has died.
It is an American Precision Industries CMD-260. does anyone have any of these surplus to their
requirements and would like to sell (one or two). Please contact me off-line if you can help
(johnvlow at optusnet.com.au)

Cheers from down under,
John
