General Mach Discussion / x axis direction question mach3

is there a way to change the x axis direction on the screen in mach 3. currently on my screen when I move the x axis in the positive direction  the cursor moves from left to right   but I would like the cursor to move from right to left in the positive direction. I have played with reversing the motors and reversing in homing/limits  and the screen allways moves from left to right?

General Mach Discussion / toolpath on rotary axis does not display properly ( a axis )

when I load a rotary job on mach3  the toolpath does not display properly when first loaded it shows as a round wheel when I home the machine and redraw the toolpath it will display the job correctly but allways puts the job at machine x-0 , y-0  not displayed at the work coordinates of the job and if I start the job I will get a soft limit warning if I ignore the warning and continue  the job will run fine   I suspect the problem has to do with the header of the g-code for a rotary job versus a flat job that is on the table top    but all the things I have tried has not worked so now I am here hoping some one will have the answer to my delima

sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place  but here is my problem,   I am building a new plasma cutter I have mach 3 , with smooth stepper and neuron thc  I think I am real close to having it ready      I have the ohmic sensor  with a magnetic break away head ( no floating head )   when I try to do my cut I get this error


15.12_09:10:00->Error 1-> System can not set the initial height! Check the FloatHead switch and motor driver.

 can any one please advise on what setting I might have missed?

has anyone heard of iGETRobot2Gcode or iGETRobot   I see lots of U tube video's with these people controlling a robotic arm with there program and mach3. does anyone know anything about them?

General Mach Discussion / 4th axis setup in mach3

I am setting a 4th axis and for the most part i have it working just fine but for some reason the toolpath display is wrong my a axis wraps around the y axis  i am trying to have it display like a cylinder but for some reason it is displayed like a plate  it seems to cut properly ( alltho so far all i have cut is air ). I have searched for the solution and could not find it if its there please point me in the right direction thanks in advance

General Mach Discussion / hx-ws400 bldc motor driver

I am new here but i have looked for information on this motor driver( hx-ws400)  and cant find it so i am asking. I purchased this motor driver and spindle off ebay and now i want to hook this up to my mach3 software using the pwm to have speed control from the software. I also purchased  4 Axis Driver 2M542 4.2A & Breakout interface board. has anyone else purchased this  system and have it working and if so pleasae share how to wire up for pwm control thanks
