LazyTurn / Cant seem to cut all material
« on: August 18, 2016, 08:02:21 AM »
I have come back to an old project but can't seem to remember how I fixed this issue in the past...I can't seem to get a clean final cut.  Really appreciate the help

The part in the front was supposed to be for a cut to be even with the part its attached to, this was for a final cut off to come in after (which I can program separately without lazycam)

Let me know if you need any other information

LazyTurn / Need help with finish cut after rough..Thank you all!
« on: February 27, 2015, 12:48:39 AM »
I have read and read but think I am missing a huge element to this.  This is as close as i can get.  I am trying to get a clean finish cut but am just running into trouble no matter what I do.  Ill include as much info as I can in pics

I cannot do any kind of finish cut after the first rough cut.  Next pic is just rough/finish together.  Added roughing tool and finish tool setup

General Mach Discussion / Threading Wizard help
« on: June 09, 2014, 02:09:47 AM »
just realized my first post on this forum was in the wrong spot..Hoping this is a better spot..I tried to lock the first one

I am relatively new to the world of cnc but have been figuring it out by reading and such for awhile.  I can turn pretty accurately and wanted to start practicing threading.  I was having issues with the threading wizard giving me a feed rate error so I moved me Z axis velocity to 75 (which is its max).  I do not get the feed rate error anymore but when I go to run the program, it just jabs my tool into the middle of the stock.  I am pretty familiar with setting up tools and such so i dont think the error is there..I have attached my numbers and g-code to see if someone can help me figure out where my error is out

thanks
