General Mach Discussion / Random jolts?

Hi all I am having an issue with my plasma having random “jolts” while the motors are running. This is happening whether I’m manually jogging, or running a code. The motors seem to jam up for a second, and jolt back and forth in both directions. It is completely random. Another thing I’ve noticed today, while my plasma is sitting idle, it’s making the motors move very slightly in both directions. This is also random.

I have a gecko g540 board and I have been running great lately, this is a new occurring thing since this morning. I haven’t changed my setup anyway.

General Mach Discussion / Mach3 slowing around corners

Hi my mach3 is slowingg around corners, any ideas why it does this? I would like it to stay a steady pace through my whole cut. I use sheetcam, so I have the option to set path rules and be able to slow it down in corners, but I don’t want that and it’s  not set. Still getting slo corners/arcs. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Hey all, I have a 4x8 cnc plasma running off Mach3 and a gecko g540. I don’t have any limit
Or home switches and I need at least 2 on the Z axis for the PROMA. I need help please.

I have these 2 switches, and I kind of understand the wiring. Where should I move toward next?
I need to mount them still as well.

Also I have my PROMA wired and it is reading voltage, I just need to wire it up to the g540 after I get
The 2 Z axis limit switches working.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi im looking into buying a THC and was wondering what everyones opinions were? what should i buy? trying to stay moderately priced..
I run MACH3 with a GeckoG540 board and a Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster A60 plasma cutter.

General Mach Discussion / MACH3 X axis run off?

Hi guys,
I'm having a problem. My CNC is running its X axis off of the tool path while its running. I've had this problem before, therefore
I've went and purchased 2 brand new computers and started over. The problem will go away for a short period of time, a few
days or a week, and then will keep occurring. I've been keeping in contact with Lighting CNC Support, and they think that
there's a frequency from the plasma that's interfering with the computers cut. It would be nice to have some help, please answer

Hey guys,

I am having troubles with my geckoG540 board, my relay is not clicking when plugged in.
I changed the relay completely, but im just not 100% sure if the wires are wrong, or what,

If someone could help it would be greatly appreciated.
