General Mach Discussion / Darwin - Pulse stats?
« on: March 07, 2015, 06:49:01 AM »
Hi There,

Can anyone suggest where I might be able to seek help/support for Art's Darwin Port pulse engine.  I gather Art has now retired but after watching his video I appear to be having a interference issue on the Pulse Stats Window.

Regards

General Mach Discussion / Parallel Port ID - Help Please
« on: March 07, 2015, 06:38:58 AM »
Hi Everyone,

Could someone confirm which Parallel Port ID number I should use?

my address path is:     Device Manager / Ports / PCI ECP Parallel Port (LPT3)

PCI ECP Parallel Port (LPT3) / properties  /  resources.

In the resource window I have TWO   I/O ranges  and TWO memory ranges listed.

My I/O ranges are:  CCF0 - CCF7
                           CCF8 - CCFF

Should I be entering CCF0 as my Parallel Port ID?

Many Thanks

General Mach Discussion / X axis will ONLY move in one direction
« on: September 11, 2013, 12:40:05 PM »
Hi Everyone,

SPECs:   Heiz S-720, Heiz control unit linked to PC via Parallel port and PCI card.      PC: running Windows 7 (32bit) and latest version MACH 3

I've setup MACH 3 to the best of my knowledge and checked things over and over, but whenever I Test the motors in (via the ARROW keys)  the X Axis will only move in one direction (X++).

However the X axis window on the Mach 3 interface, does indicate a X-- (negative number) as well as a X++ (positive number) when the left arrow and right arrow keys are depressed.

BOTH the Y and Z axis operate as expected when jogged by the up/down arrow keys and page-up/down keys respectively.

I've re-installed Mach 3 several times now and made sure I re-booted after installation, but the same problem exist.   >:(

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks
