Hi everybody,
yesterday I was working on a program that Graham had helped me with in my last topic and i was drilling-tapping almost 100 holes. After sometime Z motor stopped moving while the DRO was showing that it was...!. I tried to move the axis by the handwheel and it was moving freely as if there was no power to the axis motor.!!!.I closed the power to the board and reopened it and then it worked O.K. for a while but then it did it again! I shut down both the machine and the PC and after 4-5 hours I tried again and it worked O.K.!! Do you think it is a problem of the driver (I use Geckos 202s) or the motor or even the board (I use Sound Logic's Combo PCB) or MACH3?
Your help would be much appreciated!!

 Hi everybody,
I am new to MACH3. I have used NCCAD7 for my wabeco ccf1210 high speed mill and have recently changed to a controller for MACH3.
I have one question: I am trying to do a base plate for my mill. I need a subroutine that : turns on spindle CW   . Gives instruction for a z depth at a given feedrate. Then stops the spindle. Then spindle CCW and z up with the same feed. Is that possible with Gcode without having to write the routine 100 times?(I need to drill 100 holes-threads at a given rectangular grid)
   Can anybody help?

 Best regards,
