Hi all,

Is there an any document or information about how to use and configure the THC plugin at the machsupport's plugin page?

Looking nice but I couldnt find the any document about plugin.

And how to use analog input for mach3? As I know Its impossible to use analog input from parallel port. And If its using modbus, what is the speed? Is there an anybody used this plugin?

Any suggests?

VB and the development of wizards / Sending Arc Voltages to Mach3

Hi,

I am developing an THC. And I want to make this thc system for mach3. I dont want to send up or down signals like proma's thc because the response time will be slower. And harder to setup set voltages etc.

So I want to send the Arc voltages directly to mach3 and make everything in mach3's screen. So how to send the analog data to my mach3's dro? I want a system like candcnc.
Candcnc is making very nice systems but not shipping to my country. And if shipped to my country there are so much problem about customs. So I want to develop my own system.

I just need to send the value from serial com port, and I want to see this data in the dro. After this i will wirte a brain and I hope thc will work nicely. I can sending the data from serial and I can reading it from my serial port window. But how to configure it with mach3?

General Mach Discussion / THC Problem

Hi All,

I have a thc with logic outputs for up, down, inposition and touch. And I am using usb bob card.

I installed everything nicely. And I can seeing the up, down leds turning on or off, when thc receive the signal. So everything ok about configuration.
But z axis isnt moving! I tried turn on the allow thc up down even if not in thc mode. But same, so there are no movements at the z axis when up or down leds on mach3 and thc is turning on.

where should I look to solve my problem? Any suggest?

General Mach Discussion / Port 2 Pin2-9 Mach3 Problem

Hi all

We have c23 bob card from cnc4pc. Everything is looking ok about the bob card. Port 1 IO s is working. Port 2 outputs too working. But I have a problem with inputs of port 2. I can using input pin 10, 11 etc. But I cant using input pins 2-9. "Pin 2-9 as inputs." Checkbox is checked from Port setup and axis selection in ports and pins menu. I am sure about I have a signal on my lpt port card on pci express. I checked it. But I couldnt read any signal from mach3. I tried to use pin 2-9 inputs on my first lpt input (which lpt port is on motherboard). I didnt get any signal on mach3 again from 2-9 pins.

Where should I look for this problem, what should I check too and what should I do. Thanks for all replies, ideas and helps....

General Mach Discussion / Mach3 Errors And Bugs

I am using Mach3 under W7. And there are some problems about my software. I am using capacitive THC. And I installed a cnc machine with mach3 before this. It isnt my first or second time.

When I am trying to load g-code file. Path Generation windows is opening but not loading. If I close this windows and try to start nothing happens. After I restart the Mach3 g-code is loading nicely and after I click the start button machine is moving to part's start point and firing the torch with m3 command. After m3 command nothing happening just waiting. ANd after this If i press the feed hold and start again sometimes machine starting to cut, sometimes nothing happens.
Some times X axis moving to wrong way so slowly. Sometimes I am taking error like application defined or object defined error. After at the line m03, when at a command line like g02 x.. y.. i am taking this error.

And sometimes I am taking error like"probe ignore activated at call for probe"..

There are so much errors and bugs. What am i skipping??

I am gonna be crazy.. All cables is shielded and shields are connected to ground correctly. I think it isnt about interference. Everything is looking ok for hardware I am sure about there is a software error. What am I skipping? I need to cut, I havent got more time. Please help.

General Mach Discussion / Edited Setup File with all settings for Mach3

Hi Eveybody;

I am setting up my Mach3 for more than 15 time. And I am looking for a way for install everything in one setup package. I dont wanna setup things like xml files, graphics for screens, screensets etc. again.

I saw something like this in the CandCNC's setup files. After you clicked one install file everything was installed. With screens, graphics etc.
Is there an any way to do it. And maybe we can add cam program like sheetcam to this setup package. And we can finish everything in one setup package. Sheetcam with settings and Mach3 with all settings...

I saw some perfect things for plasma. And I think we can do all that thinks with mach but how?

General Mach Discussion / Connection The Relay and Mach3 LED(Anti Dive for Plasma THC)

Hi Everybody;

I am trying to connect a standalone THC to my plasma cutter. May u know how standalone thc working but there is an some information;

Mach sends arc start signal to thc and waits for arc ok signal. Thc does ihs(initial height sensing) with ohmic sensor or floating head switch and pierces the material. After pierce sends to arc ok signal mach 3 for move....

So I set-up everything, I did some test and everything working well. But at the corners... THC diving at the corners. Because feedrate is getting lower at the corners. Mach 3 has anti dive function for that but i couldnt set up that for standalone thc. Maybe I can connect the Anti-Dive function to any output(relay). And relay sends a thc on/off(enable) signal to thc at the corners.

So can i send an output signal when anti dive is active.

I am gonna wait ur early replies.
