Has anybody else had this happen with Mach4 Lathe Cycles?

Dell Desktop
CPU 650@3.2 Ghz
8 Gb ram
64 bit
Windows 10 Pro, Ver1803
Mach4 Hobby, Licensed

PMDX 416
Gecko G540
Turn Cycles

Program runs the OD Cycle, Tool 1010
then runs the Threading Cycle, Tool 1111
it finishes the physical threading OK.....
then near the end of  the program just hangs there..... line with M09.....
It kicks out the Cycle Start/ GCode Button..... Greyed out... (Not sure but I think that is greyed out on any time the Cycle start Button is pressed?)

So I have to hit Disable Button n re-Enable Button n then hit Cycle Start n It will finish / Rewind Program back to beginning.

But if I do not post thread cycle but just turn cycle it will finish n rewind as it should at M30

The attached files are the .tap file.
The .txt file extension was changed from .ini so it could be uploaded, you will have to change it back to .ini to use in Mach4  Lathe Cycles

Thanks MM

I'm lookin for some help in setting up my Tool Setter in Mach3.
I have :
Win XP SP3
Mach3 .066 (Licensed)
Using CNC4PC C10 Rev 11.1 board for inputs
I Have a 5v DC power supply, (saw online that 5 to 24 volts will work)
Using the SK-66A-KC Tool Setter with N/O contacts for tool touch (Red & Grey wires) = Works OK
(Blue & Green wires) N/C contacts for Over Travel = Works OK

But I'm curious as to how the (Brown & Orange wires) are to be wired/used? Is there an built in LED that would light up?
I have the wiring diagram (see attachments) but by no means am I an electrician???

ThanX, MegaMoog

Does any body know how to get the latest CHANGE LOG for the developmental versions @ the ftp site?
The latest one I found there was for 3383-3377 dated 5-4-2017.

I have downloaded n installed, but am curious as to what has been changed?
I'm using M4 for my lathe n not sure if there are any updates for that.

ThanX MegaMoog

Steve, I'm hoping you will see this over here on this forum... yes I know this is not mach4 related directly... but...
I have registered on the forum @ PMDX site but have not received my activation e-mail. I have tried a couple of times. Yes I have checked my spam folder repeatedly.
Is there some trouble on that site?
I have sent an email thru the contact email address on that site but no response yet.

I am using Mach4 with a PMDX-416 on my 7x10 lathe machine n am enjoying the set-up!!! :)

Hope ya can help...

Finally gots my 7x10 lathe converted to CNC!!!  :)
It's a used Harbor Freight from Ebay running with an old Dell Optiplex 980, Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit, Mach4 build, PMDX-416 into a Gecko G540 n all that turns the screws that I got from Billy @ BDTOOLS. Makin some pvc parts for now for GEOCACHING.
Used the Mach4 lathe Turn Cycles n even testing out some threading. So far I'm liking what results its turning out!

Happy machinist... ;D ;D ;D

Mach Screens / PBJ 2013 Screenset
« on: August 27, 2016, 10:00:52 PM »
Hi everybody, I have a situation with my machine / tool change functionality when using the PBJ 2013 Screenset. The machine will not make the moves required to start n finish the tool change when running G-code?
Using this screen set because of the 5-Axis functionality
Specs are as follows:
Windows XP SP3
Mach3 v R3.043.066
PBJ 2013 v1 screenset (All items loaded where they belong according to installation instructions)

My actions:
Power up machine
Home X Y Z B C axis
Set G54  X Y Z offset location
Tool Zero Z setting page (All locations set for tool change & switch position) (Using SINGLE OFFSET OPTION #1)
Press *Make Reference Height Button* (Z moves to safe Z height, X Y move to Tool Probe location n Z starts probing down, touches plate, Z returns to safe height and X Y returns to location before cycle started)
Load G code program with tool changes, Start program, 1st tool finishes, call T2 M6, and MACHINE JUST SITS THERE… Tool Change light FLASHING… but NO MOVEMENT toward safe Z or X Y tool change location???

I have tested following also on Tool Zero Z setting page:
Press *Start Tool Change/Tool Zero Button n all works as it should!!!
Z goes to safe Z height, X Y move to tool change Location, spindle stops, I change tool, press start, Z moves to safe Z height, X Y move to switch plate location, Z starts probing down n touches plate, Z retracts n X Y move to location where it came from b4 pressing tool change button!!!

I'm ASSUMING, I DO NOT have to switch from Program Run page to Tool Change page to make a Tool Change……
I thought the macros would do that for me, n I just manually change the tool?

Has any body else had this situation happen?
I tried contacting Per Jeppesen but no response yet…

Hope some one has some insight that can HELP!

P.S. I have reloaded Mach3 and all my settings n profile along with items from PBJ screen set… still did not work…? ??? ??? ???
