Works in progress / Show first line of G-Code

Hi,
 I am working on creating a custom screen set for myself. I would like a text line to show the first line of code from my g-code.
Basically my first line of code is the "name" of the saved tool path. I would like a text line to always show the name of the running toolpath.
Can some one help me with a script or code for this?

HI,
 I am trying to create a button that when pressed it sets the "Y" axis to 0.125. I have created the button but I don't have any idea how to write the script. 
Can someone please help me out or point me in the right direction.

General Mach Discussion / Mach3 MDI line issue

Hello all,
 I just installed Geckodrive G540. Unfortunately the xml file crashes my computer so I am manually going through all the settings. I have almost everything all set however the MDI line isn't working correctly. If I type in G0X1.5 the table doesn't move to x=1.5 but it does move 1.5". In other words if the x is at 2.000" and I type G0X1.5 the table will move to x=3.5.
Can you please let me know which setting I should be looking for?

General Mach Discussion / Remebering settings

Hi,
 I am new to to the forum and want to thank you for posting all your great knowledge.
I have been running Mach3 for a few months now and it's been great. But I have one issue, It doesn't remember my settings when I shut down. I am wondering if it should. All my zero references get lost. Is this typical?
