PoKeys / About Pull up resistor on pins 32...40 and 46,47,50,51 and 52

Hello

In page 4 of Pulse Engine Documentation 6/4/2012 said that I connect this pins to 3V3.

¿ Where I found 3V3 in board ?

¿ Can I use another 5V external power supply for make this connection ?

¿ Where I found Ground connector for equiparate grounders ?

I don't like idea that connect pull up resistors to 3V3 USB Power Supply.

I would like use external fuse protected 5V Power supply. Is posible ?

PoKeys / Pin 53,54 and 55 in Pokeys56U in Step Pulse Mode

Hello I'm drawing a schematics with OrCad and I am making a component Pokeys56U in Orcad library.

I will use in Step Pulse Mode.


I only have 3 things to clarify:


in Page 70 of PDF User Manual 5/2/2012:


pin 53 - Conection Signal

What is this ?


pin 54 - Configuration Reset or Special Functions

How make a configuration reset or what type of Special Functions are ?


pin 55 - Connection signal

What is this ?



- Pokeys56U Board arrive at my home today. All perfect. Board is really little and compact. Is perfect for make a custom mother board and put it on.

I'm new future user of Pokeys56U (Pay but don't send still.

I'm planning my new CNC machine. Is a modified LPT1+Stepper Motor Machine, to convert to USB + SERVO Machine.

¿ Is possible connect 3 encoders (1024 pulse / revolution) to Pokeys56U for make a positioning of 3 ayis (X,Y,Z) ?

In the Pokeys Manual was writen (3 fast encoders and 1 ultra fast encoders)...... What but how much faster is for pokeys ? and what is ultra fast for pokeys ? (1KHz, 10KHz....100KHz ?) I need this data for make a timming aproximation for know MAX STEP/PULSE per REVOLUTION that I can do.

Spanish / Mach3 a través de Modbus (RS232->RS485) control convertidor

Buenas,

Acabo de registrarme y estoy elaborando mi segundo proyecto de fresadora.

Mi primer proyecto lo basé en LPT1 con placa optoaisladora y control de los 3 ejes con STEP+DIR con mosfets y motores paso a paso.
Todo fué bien.

Ahora busco algo que me convierta el USB o el RS232/485 a STEP/DIR porque ya no tengo el puerto LPT1.

Si no fuera posible, me gustaría saber si hay "algo" para conectar el soft MACH3 al modbus de algun convertidor de frecuencia.
