General Mach Discussion / Question... G54 default fixture offset ?

Hi Ya'll ;

I am running Mac3 ver 2  60 . When I startup mach and go to the offset page , all my fixture offsets are correct   except G54 (which is all Zero's) .
Is this because after homing the machine G54 is set to 0,0,0 by default ? If so , how can I work around this ?
