General Mach Discussion / Touch Plate Problem
« on: July 13, 2019, 10:53:29 AM »
I finally got all Homing and Limit switches wired and they work beautifully but now the problem is I can't get my touch off plate to work anymore. It seems that all my "Pins" are used on my breakout board. Is there a way to work around this problem?
By the way I'd like to thank all you guys that help us with our problems. You put a lot of time and effort into helping  and sometimes with
out even getting a thank you (I'm guilty of that). I see on most of the problems that is presented on this forum, hundreds of people read the
problems and your answers to them. Believe me when I say "You guys are Greatly Appreciated" There are a lot of newbies like me that are
getting into CNC's with out having a Background in CNC'n or any type of knowledge about  them and it is daunting and confusing.
You guys that help are Bright Stars in the Night.
Thank You

General Mach Discussion / Bad Circles
« on: March 31, 2019, 12:25:06 PM »
Y-axis stalls when cutting circles but not when cutting squares. I'm using Vectric Aspire software. Vectric Aspire kind of blames Mach3 for the problem. Anything to that?

General Mach Discussion / Motors won't turn
« on: August 14, 2011, 02:59:32 PM »
Sirs; after building my BlackToe 2 x 4 and installing Mach3 Release 2.63; I used the videos
on Mach3 Website to configure my setting and everything was working fine. Today I downloaded the new Mach3 R3.043.022 version and now I can't get the motors to turn/run.
They won't move using the key board or by running a gcode program. I configured the newer version with the same setting as the older version. (I made copies of the setting to follow.
Can anyone help me? Let me tell you this first! I am a total newbie, when I purchased the unit I had no experience at all with a cnc router. I am now studying Autodesk Inventor Pro and AutoCAD, reading everything about Mach3 that I can find and using a study Book named "The CNC Workshop by Frank Nanfara. Folks my brain is about fried, so please be gentle and please help. I tested all the port pins and the other hardware and they all specked
out. I loaded the Road Runner gcode and it ran fine on the screen but the motors still aren't turning. I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks
Larry
