What should you set the diameter setting when programming and ellipse on The 4th axis. Attached is a Jpeg of part and stock. Not quite sure if I want to use the largest cylindrical diameter or some thing in the middle? The questionable cut is the profile around part

Bobcad has updated it post for Mach 3 both english and mertic. they now have for Mach 3 a post set-up without tool changer. the post has a M05 and M00 in place of M6.

General Mach Discussion / Bobcad Lathe Rejeased for V2007

Bobcad has released the lathe package for V2007. I have not used it and know nothing about it. But I do like the wat Bobcad has set-up V2007. You pay a good chuck of change for V2007. But you can get the Plug-ins packages for not to bad of a price. The lathe is $495 for plug-in to V2007. Personaly I waiting for the 4th axis and Bobart plug-ins. When the 4th axis comes out. It is supose to be a True 4th axis software. Not just a rotory wrap.

Attached is a post that I modify for V21 and add a few thing under the macro menu and tool change. Like interpolate hole one pass and two,program discription and note. They are from some scrip I got from Sorin and used for my Mach 2 post. Just download to your NC config folder you can rename file
