Show"N"Tell ( Your Machines) / My Triac with servo's and mach3
« on: April 22, 2008, 05:44:18 PM »
There is a link to a video of my denford triac cnc milling machine, I picked it up about 3 years ago
and ran mach3 with the original steppers, it was o.k. but. I had to have servo's. so the
last 3 months have been adding servo's to it.
I am using Rutex drives with DC servo motors and HP encoders, the combination seems to work quite well
I can get 6m/min on fast travis . I have done some repeatability tests and over a 30min. period the test proved positive(no deviation)
take a look.........
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDf5ExPcNo8
I forgot to add this is an ongoing project that is by no means finished ,there is no spindle drive yet(this is the job in hand)
