Forum suggestions and report forum problems. / posting not showing up

I posted a CNC lathe for sale in the bargin basement section & the post didn't show up & now when I go to try to load it again I get the message that the file name of my pictures already exists so my stuff is there somewhere. I can't find the post elsewhere. The posting was for a spectralight/Shirlins CNC lathe for sale.

General Mach Discussion / steppers or software

I just got done building my new controller box for my spectralight/Sherline lathe & got most of the Mach3 setup. In manual mode, I set jog to incramental of .010 & when running the axis back & forth with an indicator. I get iratic readings, meaning the step are not consistant every time. I have set the backlash. I am starting to think one of my steppers is bad (X-Axis) & maybe the z axis is going. It gives me between .009 - .011 for each step in iether direction. These are the original round steppers.

Or....Am I missing something in the software?

Anyone else experience this themselves?

General Mach Discussion / Light Machines lathe

This might not be the right directory to post this & if it is, please redirect.

I just purchased a Light Machines CNC lathe model 0400 & control box. I thought I was doing good and all I would need is a PC. Now I find out there is a special card needed from Intelitek that cost around $1000. Does Mach3 have a solution for this that is relitively inexpensive?

I really don't want to spend a whole lot more money on this machine as I purchased it as a trainer & I am planning on building a 7X or 8X lathe in the future.
