Third party software and hardware support forums. / UC300eth and mach3 SoftLimit issue HELP!!!

Hello to All,
I cannot for the life of me figure out the problem with the spindle going up in the + direction  when I hit Pg Down on the keyboard with the Soft Limits on.   I can control it perfectly with Soft Limits OFF. (When I hit pg down it goes down).
The other issue I'm having is with my Xbox 360 controller. On my old stepper CNC router which is a parallel port machine with a gecko G540 controller it works fine. It will move fast with the rapids.
But...... with this new Machine no matter what I do, it WILL NOT move faster than 31.85 IPM in the X & Y. And the  Z Moves 6.16 IPM, that's the best I get with the Xbox controller for all 3 axis's. I'm using the JOYPAD controller Plugin on both machines. One machine works great and one doesn't.

I'm running windows 7 64bit and Mach 3 .066  and UC300eth with .022 plugin for the UC300eth.
X & Y working PERFECT with SOFT LIMITS ON. It's the stupid Z axis.

Ok just downloaded ScreenTweak  from artsofts website and I get this error when trying to install it.

VB and the development of wizards / Tool plateform Zero find Macro

Hey guy's I'm using this Macro to find the top of the Tool pallet that I'm using with a ATC.
But it always say's "Zero plate grounded Or faulty". What's funny is the Macro works, it just that.
I know the Zero plate is working properly because when I use my other Z zero button on the program run screen in
Mach 3 it work's fine. Please look over the Macro to see if something is out of place.

Also at the end of a G-code run I have added a M06 T00 G49 to replace the Tool holder in the Pallet.
Well it replaces it, then it picks it back up for some odd reason and goes to zero. Any help would be greatly appreciated
on this problem.  I've attached the M500 Tool pallet Macro and the START m1ls Macro to look at. Thanks

General Mach Discussion / Macro for finding egde alignment

Hey guy's looking for a macro to  align material in the Y direction and the X direction.
Like doing a probe on the -Y then retract and go to the +Y direction and give a distance
 the part is out of alignment. Hope this makes sense. I found this picture but can't seem to get
a hold of the owner of it. Crap after looking at it again I need alot of macros.
Or a similar screen that can be added to Mach 3.  Thanks Richard

General Mach Discussion / How do you change Programs in MACH 3 File Menu

Ok this has probably been answered a million times ,but here goes.  When opening Mach 3 and scrolling over "File" a list of programs appear,  (Sheetcam,V Carve Pro,Lazycam, etc.)  How does one ADD or REMOVE the programs in this list?     Thanks   Rich

Mach Screens / A redo of scott's Back In Black screen

Here's a little something I've been working on for a while now after some self taught graphic design. I like this screen and gerry's aqua screen alot but found this one to be easier to work with since I was able to have the RealDraw Pro files.  Just making to suit my taste and style. Thanks scott for this GREAT screen.

Mach Screens / Bitmap LED's not working right

Gerry how do you get your bitmap led's to work flawlessly, when going from one state to another. I'm using REALDRAW PRO , how do you make them where they DON'T jump from side to side as if they were different size's. I've  seen benny's video's and still they don't work right. any help and instruction's would be great! Thanks        Richard

General Mach Discussion / Y Axis racking when sent to "Home"

I have 2 steppers on the y axis gantry which is R&P one on each side, they are the same brand, bought at the same time. Well the problem is when I "Home" the Y axis, one motor runs faster than the other. The odd part is when I jog or say "Go to zero" then they are fine. Any Suggestions? Thanks   Richard

Mach Screens / My First Screen

 This is my first post and WOW!!! this place is great, I've been looking at it, while I build my cnc machine. Anyway my ? is when I make a sample screen set with some "dros" and some other buttons to practice using screen 4, every other screen set I've downloaded and loaded in screen 4  the numbers in the "dros" start counting up. Now when I load my sample screen they do nothing  why is that? I've watched Benny"s videos lots and lots of times, but I'm missing something. Any help would be great.  Thanks to all for your valuable time and energy you put in here. Richard
