General Mach Discussion / Baffled by G52 offset?
« on: May 11, 2011, 09:16:23 AM »
Hi All,

Just doing some testing with G52 offset, what I cant understand is that at the the end the gcode file when its run the G52 offset is cancelled automatically.
I thought you had code a G52 X0 Y0 to cancell the offset.

Can someone explain why this is happening?

VB and the development of wizards / Cycle Start to check input
« on: April 13, 2011, 07:39:10 PM »
Hi,
I need to have the cycle start button check if spindle is activated before a program can be run.
Is this the correct code to insert into cycle button?

If IsActive(InPut10)
DoOemButton(1000)
Else
DoOemButton(1003)
MsgBox("Enable Spindle")
End

General Mach Discussion / Putting pause in gcode?
« on: December 27, 2010, 02:54:55 PM »
Hi All,

I have a cutting project that is nested on 8 off 2440mm x 1220mm sheets.
Rather than load the 8 different gcode files I would rather group the gcode together, and insert a pause and a message to come up on Mach saying change sheet.
Is this at all possible?? if so can someone please help out?

Putting the g code together and inserting a pause is not the problem, its the message on mach screen i dont know how to implement this.

General Mach Discussion / E Stop
« on: November 10, 2010, 04:55:11 PM »
Hi All,
Personally I prefer a mains voltage control circuit for the E Stop rather than software controlled by mach3.(software crash no E stop)
Just wondering is it possible for some way of telling mach that a E stop of this configuration has been pressed so as mach would stop running too?

General Mach Discussion / Manual button for auto zero
« on: October 22, 2010, 01:58:37 PM »
Hi All,

Is it possible to have a manual button on the gantry to do a z auto zero, instead of using mach3 zero button??
When doing tool change I think it would be better to have button on the gantry rather than going back to pc to do it.

If its possible is their anyone prepared to give me advice and directions on how to implement this?

General Mach Discussion / Auto zero tool question
« on: October 15, 2010, 06:50:07 AM »
Hi,

With the Auto zero tool it has 2 leads one for the ground which people are using a clip onto the cutter.

Maybe a silly question but why cant that lead be ground to machine chasis in the control box??..so there is only one lead on the z zero tool. Am I missing something here?

Hit RefAll and machine only moves maybe 20mm, hit refAll  again and moves 45mm then hit refAll  again maybe 30mm.. movements are random and never goes to home with one continuios movement.
Any help in this matter would be most welcomed.
