Hello,

My mill has a rather poor spindle motor drive. It's not always able to maintain the proper speed. Until I can replace the motor and drive.

I am wondering if Mach Mill has the capability if I put a tach on the spindle to notify it if the spindle speed drops. That Mach can reduce the feed until the spindle catches up. A sort of like constant surface feet per min. in Mach turn

General Mach Discussion / Secondary machine coordinate position?

If I am going to set up an auxiliary high speed spindle that is mounted offset from my primary mill spindle. Can I setup a secondary machine home position? I hope to controll this with a hardware switch that will know if I have the secondary spindle mounted?

My thinking is this might reduce potential problems while trying to use offset coordinates.
