General Mach Discussion / Motor Tuning / Different Computers - Same Machine

Between my 3 computers running Mach3, each one has different (steps per inch) settings under motor tuning for the same cnc machine.

I have always wondered about that since backing up my mach settings for the motor tuning won't apply on another pc.

Has anyone run into this scenario?
