General Mach Discussion / Help, X-Axis only moves in one direction

Hello,

 I have a issue with my X-axis that is giving me fits.
 When I try to jog the axis to the left and right , it always moves to the right regardless of what Key I press.I cant get it to move to the left.The other axis controls work just fine.

I have done some initial trouble shooting and have confirmed it is not the motor, the cable, and I just recently replaced the Chip for the X-axis driver  thinking this would fix the problem........no such luck.
When I test the Mach 3 driver test, it sometimes says pulsing too fast. Not sure if this is related or not???

I am running Windows XP
Lastest version of Mach 3 ( Purchased the license)


What should I try next?

General Mach Discussion / X- Axis times out

Hello,

I just purchased Mach 3 and I love it so far, but have run into 1 issue.

When I 1st turn my computer in and fire up mach 3 and the CNC everything works fine.

If I leave everything running and come back several hours later, the x-axis will jog for a second, then just time out and becomes unresponsive. Mach3 still shows the axis moving (when I try to Jog), but the LED indicators on my driver Card stop lighting  like its not getting a signal?

The other 2 axis seem to be immune from this issue and work fine.
My only work around it to shut down and reboot each time this happens.

Not sure what these symptoms point to as a possible issue; Computer,Mach3, or driver board?
