General Mach Discussion / MACH3 screen not able to go "full screen"

Hi guys,
I've been wondering why my mach3 is unable to go "full screen" on my monitor? When I press the "maximize" button from windows, the Mach3 screen stays the same size and creates a huge black border to its right and underneath to fill the screen instead of scaling up.... So basically my Mach3 screen does not want to scale up.... any thoughts? All other softwares scale up fine.

General Mach Discussion / how to "set" rapid feedrate G0 in MACH3

Hello,
I have made a homemade 3-axis CNC mill and have been testing with Mach3 with good results.
I am wondering if the rapid feedrate can be set or adjusted in any way in Mach3?
The reason I am asking is because since I calibrated my axiis with the axis calibration function within Mach3, my feedrate went WAY WAY down to an unacceptable level. If I bring the feedrate back up with "motor tuning" then my calibration is WAY off... meaning if I ask the X axis to travel 1", it will do 7". So at this point, it's either I have my axis well calibrated but deal with an impossibly slow rapid or I have good rapid with axiis that are WAY off... Any thoughts?

General Mach Discussion / machine produces OVALS instead of CIRCLES???

Hello all,
I recently finished my homemade CNC 3-axis mill and have been experimenting with Mach 3 with some success. However, when I program a circle or an arc with simple G2 or G3 code, the result is not round but rather ovalish in shape. I did the axis calibration for a second time but the results were similar... Does it mean, I am not calibrating the axis properly, or is there anything else in the configurations that could cause that?
