General Mach Discussion / HELP PLEASE! homing limit troubleshooting
« on: May 12, 2017, 09:21:56 PM »
I have an ez-router cnc.  I have been troubleshooting the last week to no avail.  When I reference all home the z goes up and touches the limit switch but it won't back off of it.  It just keeps crashing into it.  So I replaced the limit switch and it does the same thing.  I've replaced a ribbon cable, parallel cable, and limit switch.  Nothing worked.  I went into the button script editor and deleted the dobutton 24 to stop the z from homing.  I then try to reference all home again with just the y and x axis.  The y axis comes back and touches the limit switch and does the exact same thing.  I am at a loss on want to look for.  I am a week behind on schedule and am no closer in figuring this thing out.  Any and all guidance would be appreciated.  Thanks

General Mach Discussion / tool dro
« on: March 24, 2010, 09:04:40 PM »
I have been using a custom screen set for my router.  I'm having trouble with it changing the tool dro when it calls for a tool change in the gcode. I have a custom macro that depends on this to change.  The standard 1024 screen set changes the tool dro  with no problem.  I really want to use the custom screen set, but I don't know what to look for or what could be causing this.  Any ideas?

General Mach Discussion / SPINDLE WON'T SHUT DOWN
« on: May 07, 2009, 07:48:20 PM »
Any ideas why my spindle won't completely stop.  When I get finished running a program the spindle winds down from 18000 to around 3000 rpm but won't completely turnoff.  On the mach screen it shows it as off but on my vfd it hovers around 3000 rpm.  The only way to get it stopped is to type 0 in the mach screen and hit the spindle button.  Does anyone have any ideas on what might be happening?

General Mach Discussion / I need help setting up my air drill
« on: March 27, 2009, 02:11:25 PM »
I have installed an air drill on my router next to my spindle, using the same z plate.  I'm not too familiar with mach3.  How would one go about configuring mach3 to run it.  I need some direction.  Thanks in advanced
