Mach3 under Vista / mach3 gone
« on: November 30, 2014, 04:20:48 PM »
hi everyone thi maybe a long post so please bear with me
i have a 2008 cam wood wr404 bought new and love it
my issue is this my dell desktop crapped out last night without a hint of trouble after 6 years of great work never even a single glitch
after going through all the tests i had to replace the hard drive
now for the reinstall of the mach
i have (2) html files i belive 1 maybe the original mach3 and the newer dated very close to the time i bought my machine
i am in hopes that cam wood will give me a copy of my license # and be able to re install it
so all that being said are the html codes basically my specific machine parameters ????
if so how do i go about incorporating them when i download a new copy of mach 3 ???
i am running vista and through one of the things i read my version of mach3 was1.87any help would be great

General Mach Discussion / long program glitch
« on: December 06, 2009, 05:52:14 PM »
hi folks im woundering if any one can help me
im using vetric pro software
mach3 os for the operating software on a 2009 camwood wr408
all software is reg and updated current as of july of this year
here is my problem
if i am doing any thing simple ie:shapes drill cycles generar routing ect my machine runs like a swiss watch
when i try to do a complex art rout ie something that has many tools and thousands of lines i get emergency stops
tool crashes and all sorts of different glitches
i will note that i do not have an automatic tool changer so i work around it by telling the etric software different tools
i have for example tried to run long programs slowes to allow the controler to keep up this did nothing
i think the interface between the computer and the machine is called a soft stepper3
any ideas on what i might be doing wrong would help
thank you guys and gals in advance

General Mach Discussion / homing positions
« on: March 17, 2009, 05:43:10 AM »
good morning i realize this may be a simple question but
instead of changing the g28 location points on my mill is there an easy way to set up different (home)
locations for different size sheet stock
ie i have it set up to go to x108 y0 for 96x48 sheet goods but would like to (home) at different locations for different
sheet goods and or jig setups
thank you
