Sieg Machines / Laser Head for X3

Hi All
I have a Sieg x3 which was converted to cnc many years ago running Mach3 it all works fine but I would like to use a laser head with it can anyone suggest what I should buy  I would want it to cut brass sheet of about 2mm thickness

Newfangled Solutions Mach3 Wizards / syntax error

Hi
I have been using Mach3 for two years and have had no problems up to now,when using a wizard for gear cutting or write when I post the code from the wizard and run it I get a syntax error message for the line of code to start the motor spindle when I click on the message it brings up a screen giving several choices debug etc I click on one symbol and it says ready then I click on run script and the motor starts and then click on start on the main screen and the program runs just fine it has only just started to happen is this a bug?

I am using Autocad 2005 but when I run lazycam and import the dxf file I get a blank screen with the message no project loaded and no entities found any ideas as to what I am doing wrong

I am fairly new to cnc but have been in clock repair for some years does anyone know the best way to go about using my cnc mill to cross out gear blanks I have successfully used it to cut the gear teeth but not sure how use it to do the crossing out. do I draw the gear in cad then import it to Lazy cam and go from there or is there another way?

General Mach Discussion / 4th Axis

Hi All
I  joined the forum after completing the cnc conversion on my X3 when I converted it I made provision for a fourth axis which I have now installed Mach 3 sees it ok but when I used the gear cutting NFS wizard x and y do what they are supposed to do but A axis does not respond. Any Ideas?
