General Mach Discussion / Help with adding a rotary table on LPT2
« on: December 31, 2009, 02:20:51 PM »
I could use a little insight on adding a rotary table on my router. My current config under Mach3 has A slaved to Y and X and Z drive there axis. My question concerns adding a rotary table under LPT2. Should I configure this axis a B or C as those appear to be my only options or doesn't it matter. I will be using Cut2D to generate my G code. All axis are driven by a Gecko G540 and the rotary will be a G250.

I am trying to ref all home my new router which has an A axis slaved to the X. When I ref all home the A axis does not move. When using my shuttle or cursor keys these two axis's move in tandem so slaving is working. I am using the Gecko 540 xml file (540b) in Mach3 as my config file. Where in it would I change ref all home to allow a tandem move of these two axis? I much appreciate any help. I have read the various posts on this subject but I can't compare this xml file directly to the file(s) mentioned in those posts. I have a home switch on the X and A axis and a limit on the A which is actually in parallel with the x and a home switches.
Thanks,
Frank
