Feature Requests / Customize Multifunction Pad for MACH..........in less than $10

Hi All,
Here is the idea for making ur very own USB enabled multifunctional keyboard with Analouge I/P.
It got 24 Digital input and 6 Analouge I/P. And its really cheap.......................$10 for all.....................If a cnc can be DIY then why not the other interfaces.
Now its up to Artsoft how much they can support this open source device by releasing the plugin.
May be they just let it hide in the dust.

Don't really know its up to u guys ........................let the open source help the hobbiest to grow.

General Mach Discussion / servo selection.......

Hi all,
Can you guys help me out with servo selection  for milling machine.
I have an old milling machine and i want to fit it with mach 3 along with servos..............for better stability.
I have two cheap options for servo
                                                 A) Delta Electronics servo
                                                 B) Yashkawa  servo
I guess 4Nm will be good enough to start with but i am not sure what PPR to choose for encoder. 2500 PPR is the minimum available encoder resolution. And its a 3000 Rpm motor.
What is the max. encoder frequency that a mach3 can handle.
Would it be more accurate to use G100 with 600Mhz PIII  laptop  instead of high end desktop PC .
