I released version V3.09 of the camera plugin. I added the possibilty, to make a screenshot of the camera image. This opens the way, to analyse the image by an external program. The screenshot can be triggered by a button on the dialog box and / or by using a user LED. The crosshair and circle diameter can now be altered by user DRO's.

I released version V3.02 of Camera (could be used as edgefinder). Added: The crosshair can now be moved and the position can be saved.

I release version 3.02 of MachProfile. Fixed:"Show params" didn't show parameters.

Features:

it shows the profile parameters
compares 2 profiles
Checks the port and pin settings
Saves and restores params
shows / prints Motor / axis pin assignments, used pins, input pins, output pins, encoder / MPG pins
shows / prints  the settings in kind of screenshots of Mach3 dialogs

Hi

I added some new features to my camera plugin V3.

The settings for these feature have to be done in the Config Dialog.

1) a button "Move Offset" can optionally be set on the main window
2) "Set DRO to 0 at plugin termination".  If "Move Offset" is clicked and that checkbox is set, the plugin sets the X and Y DRO's to 0 when the plugin is terminated.
3) "Set DRO to 0 after offsetting". If "Move Offset" is clicked and that Checkbox is set, the plugin sets the X and Y DRO's to 0 when endposition is reached. This function is only available on machines controlled by the LPT interface, since tests have shown, that some motion controllers overwrite the DRO's.

Hi

today I've released Version V3.05. Fixes:
In some cases the windows "Positions" and "Crosshair Positions" could be covered be the camera image.
added warning. It is highly recommended to terminate the plugin before terminating Mach3. Otherwise messages from Mach3 may be covered by the plugin.

Hi,

in the past, some users had problems connecting their cameras with my camera plugin. I've rewritten a new version using CV API. Since the new plugin GUI looks very similar to the previous plugin its named Camera Plugin V3. This version is a Beta version. It installs an installation log-file "c:\\CameraPlugin_KD.log" for trouble shooting purposes.

General Mach Discussion / Program for saving, restoring, printing and checking profile data

Hello,
I added a print feature to MachProfile. MachProfile has now the following functionality:
Profile Comparison:
It compares two profile files and shows the differences,
you can search for Parameters, the search string may contain wild cards like  ? and *

Check ports and pins:
Shows all found parallel ports with their names and port address
shows the assigned pins and ports
shows errors  / warnings if doubled used, or wrong directed

Save params:
Saves the following files:
Addons, Fixtures, GCode, Macros, Profiles, ToolTable, Brains, Flash, License, Plugins, Subroutines, TurnAddons

Restore params:
Restores  the following files:
Addons, Fixtures, GCode, Macros, Profiles, ToolTable, Brains, Flash, License, Plugins, Subroutines, TurnAddons

Show params:
this function is obsolete

Show settings:
This function is new.
This function shows, or prints all settable parameters of Mach3 in some kind of screenshots of the Mach3 Config dialogs.
The buttons “Show” and “Print” work on the selected profile of the “Profile path”. Every dialog of the Mach3 Config menu is selectable.
The buttons “Print to file”, “Show from file” and “Print from file” give the opportunity to put data to a memory stick and print, or display them on another PC with MachProfile.

Please consider this function Beta. If you find some spelling errors, or weird behavior, it would be helpful, if I could have the profile and a short description of the problem.
