General Mach Discussion / Tool problem!

Hi,

I just finisched the conversion of my X1 mill and started with mach 3 to mill some stuff. But how do I program the g-code that it knows how big my endmill is. Because I tryed a lot but still he does not do it right, all my figure millled out are to small because of the endmill. I added tools to my tool path and select the right tool in the layers of the dxf file but still not the way I like it. I hope you all understand my problem.

General Mach Discussion / Using Mach3 on notebook

Hi all,

I am using mach3 now, but I am wondering if it is possible if you can use mach 3 on a notebook and then a notebook without a parallel port. I readed in the mach3 manual that it was not possible to use mach3 with a USB - Parallel cable. But I found some other hardware what is not using the USB port but the PCMCIA card slot of the note book. I am wondering if some have any experience with something like this.
