General Mach Discussion / Where can I find R2.0.09?
« on: November 20, 2006, 11:04:50 PM »
I just installed version 12 and Lzycam does not work.  I cannot get the layers bar to show up and there seems to be other bugs as well.
I would appreciate it if someone can point me to or send me version 09.  In the future I will do my installs a separate directory and save the original install files.  I really need LazyCam  :'(

What controls whether lazycam moves clockwise or counterclockwise on segment?  Is there a way to set the default to clockwise or counterclockwise?

General Mach Discussion / What am I doing wrong?
« on: November 16, 2006, 07:29:59 AM »
I have set up a tool with diameter 1.6mm.  When I select this tool in lazycam, I expect it to compensate for the diameter of the tool.   So if I am cutting a rectangle inside, I expect the tool path to be half the diameter of my tool (.8mm) away from the edges.  Instead, Lazycam G-Code that moves exactly on the edges of the rectangle.  What am I missing or doing wrong here?

General Mach Discussion / Metric Vs Imperial
« on: November 14, 2006, 03:05:27 PM »
I am a new user and find the way Mach3 handles the units very confusing.  I wish you could switch between metric and imperial without messing with the tuning parameters or better still, when you set a global unit change, the motor tuning parameters would automatically change.  The fact is that I don't mess with motor tuning much.  Once these are set, they don't change that often.
However, I switch frequently from jobs that are metric based to imperial based jobs and vise versa frequently.  When I am in metric, I would like to see everything including the DRO, JOG, home positions, etc. in metric without messing with or restting the motor tuning parameters.  The same when I use the inch unit.
What's the best way of doing this with the current version of Mach3?

General Mach Discussion / New to Mach3 question

Sorry about asking an elementary question.
I am tring to set up an end mill as tool in tooltable.  Which icon do I use for this? The one that looks like a rectangle?

LazyCam (Beta) / Mouse key re-assignment in Lazycam
« on: October 14, 2006, 10:25:56 AM »
Is there any way to assign another key or mouse/key combination for rotration in Lazycam?  On my laptop I don't have a center button and on my desktop machine  pressing the center wheel does not rotate.
What can I do to rotate in 3d in Lazycam?
Thanks,
Jason
