LazyCam (Beta) / mach 3 multipass wizard question?
« on: September 17, 2008, 03:10:11 PM »
If I open a g-code in mach 3 and run it through the multipass wizard, setting the cut depth, and how deep to cut every pass; do I need to set a cutting depth for the same project in lazy cam? would the 2 cancel each other out or would I end up with a mell of a hess?

General Mach Discussion / Not cutting all the way through problem?
« on: July 07, 2008, 05:20:06 AM »
Im wondering if anyone has an answer to my problem.

I take a jpg or whatever, vectorize it and save it as a wmf, I then open it in lazy cam; create a gcode, and then run it in Mach 3.

However lets say I cut a simple circle, from the start point of cutting to the end point of cutting there is not a complete circle. There is still about 1/8th of an inch of material not cut to complete the 360 degres of the circle?

What am I doing wrong or missiing in lazy cam.

Thanks much for any help.
