SmoothStepper USB / Smooth Stepper Causing Different Motion in Slaved Axis

Hello,

Currently operating with Y and C Slaved. Distance is different and gantry twists?  Have had similar issues if non-motherboard mounted parallel port used in the past.  Any suggestions?

Have tried noise and decreasing max frequency in Plug in Control to no avail.

Help apprreciated!

G-Code, CAD, and CAM discussions / G1 on every line causing choppiness

Hi,

I am experiencing a weird situation where our machine gets choppy if there are G1 codes on every line of a 3D file.  If the codes are removed the machine is much smoother.  Any suggestions on ways to overcome this in Mach?  We use a number of CAD/CAM packages, and some have posts that are not easy to modify.

General Mach Discussion / How to unlink Rapid Rate from Feed Rate Override

Hello,

Is there a way I can get my rapid rate to always run at top speed, even if the feed rate over ride is not at 100%?  I am using 1.90.073. 

Also, on my SET file, the SHIFT + Jog does not go at 100%.  Any suggestions.
