General Mach Discussion / Can Mach 3 Mill put on a Kitamura Mycenter1?
« on: March 14, 2012, 11:58:58 PM »
Can Mach 3 Mill put on and used on a Kitamura Mycenter1 VMC?

I use it on my mill everyday that I built from a old Wells Index, but that's a home made machine.

The control on a machine does not work.

Please let me know.
TIA

General Mach Discussion / Lazy cam problems
« on: September 10, 2008, 01:55:24 AM »
Does anyone know of a simple 2 or 3d cam program like Lazycam
but better?
I paid the money for Lazycam but it really sucks.
I could sit here for 2 hrs explaining the problems but it's a waste of time
Brian already told me that they weren't going to fix anything.

It's a shame because I really like Mach 3.
You would think they would have a little more pride in their product
like they do with Mach 3
Please let me know,
Brian

Hi all,
I'm looking for a simple old version of a cam program that I can generate G code with from a simple
wireframe, DXF file, that has X, Y, and Z moves.
Lazycam flattens out the dxf and generates just the X and Y
I need the Z also.
If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
I up for all suggestions.
If someone had an old version of mastercam or some other program
that they don't use please let me know.
Thanks,
Brian

General Mach Discussion / How to use a simple offset
« on: June 03, 2008, 08:44:30 PM »
Hi all,
I know it's simple to all of you but I've never had to use an offset in g code.
here's the code:

g0 x0 y0

g0 x-.074 y-3.518
g0 z-2.116
g1 x-2.35 z-2
g1 x-3.65
g1 x-5.89 z-2.116
g1 y-3.500
g1 x-3.65 z-2
g1 x-2.35
g1 x-.074 z-2.116

now what i need to do is just move .100 in Y axis and repeat 35 times

how is it done,
please clue me in,
Thanks,
Brian

M6 T1(TOOL DIA.0.625)
G64
G20 (Inch)
M03

G00 G43 H1  Z0
X0 Y0
G01 Z0  F3
G3 Y0 X0.125 R0.625
Y0 X-0.125 R0.125
Y0 X0.25 R0.1875
Y0 X-0.25 R0.25
Y0 X0.375 R0.3125
Y0 X-0.375 R0.375
Y0 X0.4725 R0.4238
Y0 X-0.4725 R0.4725
X0.4725 Y0 R0.4725
Y0.2 X0.2725 R0.2
G00 Z0 x0 y0

General Mach Discussion / Ports and pins current state in Mach 3
« on: April 22, 2008, 10:44:07 PM »
? Can anyone tell me what I'm looking at in the diagnostics screen in Mach 3- ports and pins current state
I see 2 rows of 12 LED lights.
Obviously they represent the pins out of the printer cable.
But when I match it up to lets say a BOB how do you know which is which.
Is LED on the top left = to Pin #1 on my breakout board?

Please let me know,
Brian
thanks

Hi,
? J Code  What does the computer have to have installed for this to work?
I downloaded this on my office computer to check it out and it works fine.
I then downloaded it to my computer by the machine, and nothing happens.
What needs to be installed for this to work?
Thanks,
Brian
