General Mach Discussion / Guilty as charged
« on: October 30, 2008, 03:22:40 PM »
Sorry all, I haven't been attending, have some other fish in the kettle. Just curious though, has anyone ported the Mach3 I/O to a gen purpose PCI I/O card?
I have noticed lately just how bad the realtime interupts can be via parallel ports, especially with a high demand GUI, for instance a large toolpath display area.

VB and the development of wizards / Need to interupt while loop
« on: February 15, 2008, 04:49:38 PM »
I am using a system key in Mach3 to interupt a while loop by monitoring a led state. The OEM buttons and OEMled's has a low priority in a macro while loop it seems. I have worked around it, but can't locate info on buttons that has a higher priority and is not assigned to Mach3 system. Is there available buttons for such an interupt?
I am monitoring a button/led while in a timer loop as to terminate the loop via external interupt premature to the timeout.

General Mach Discussion / Dwell interupt
« on: February 13, 2008, 02:49:29 PM »
I'm sort of back on the forum. Got injured in a botched hijacking. The only good thing about it is the hijacker got of worse than me! Anyway, a question, is there a way of interupting an active G4P thread? With other words, while in the G4 dwell cycle, can it be stopped before timing out?

General Mach Discussion / Gamepad FRO incrementing
« on: December 19, 2007, 05:48:22 PM »
I'm using a gamepad with two buttons used as increment/decrement the FRO using Keygrabber and OEM Button codes 108 and 109. But I cannot find where to change the increment/decrement value. It stays fixed on 10%. I'm missing something, I have tried DRO's as per documentation, but there is not enough information. Another question, What is OEMButton's 100 and 101 for? It is called Inc Inc Up and Inc Inc Down. I've been Incing on them and watching DRO's I have added that I thought might be relavent, but alas, the incing is evading me!

General Mach Discussion / CAPACITIVE DECOUPLING OF tHE 20KHZ SIGNAL
« on: October 16, 2007, 06:45:13 PM »
Hello all you happy campers! Some people have asked for a circuit, but I cannot upload, the server is blocking me.
I sent the circuit to ART's email, and hopefully he will post it.
I have also noticed that spammers are finding their way in here, so that might be why I can't post pictures.

General Mach Discussion / Merlin
« on: July 31, 2007, 05:05:50 PM »
Anybody got an idea how to disable "Merlin" the interactive help character? Most of my functions and customization is unknown to the character. Although he is cute in a way, he is not of much use and if I want to go commercial, it might become a bit of a problem.

I'm running Mach3Screen.exe to customise my screens, but something odd has been happening. On some buttons, when I doubleclick to access the parameters, even if I don't change anything and just click ok out of the dialogue, I get a message "Hotkey just duplicated x,y....this vary from button to button.... Am I setting hotkeys that I'm not aware of with the left mouse button?

Best regards
William
