some sort of help would be great as your manual does not explane any of this or the use of the register or use with brains .how about some sort of up date as you sell the stuff how about support it with a new manual as well

Has any one used the new version dll for modio for use with Peter Homann boards?
 I can now set up more then one pcb but I cannot configure the pin address it just give me a alarm once I push the configure button .can some one fix this problem other wise I will have 3 off the pcb up for sale their not worth the hassle to get them to run you need to play with this stuff for a least 5 years before you get any where and the manual from his site is about 3 years old.

Brains Development / help need with brains and modio feed pot

hello i using 3 analog pots on peter modio feed,rapid override,spindle override,
they all have steps eg on the feed  and spindle are 0,20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90,100,110%
rapid is 0 , 25,50,100%

feed is on analog 3, slave 1 i have work this bit out as address 8 ,config 1, serial set up etc

on the brains i can get the 0 -1024 bit aok

so how can i get this to set the steps up

one way i can see is

analog3 is less then eg20 the set dro to 0

analog3 is more then eg20 less then 120 set dro to %20

this will work but their is a lot of rungs to do, is their a formula to do it. i have gone thick and don't have a place to start from.

please help or some one post me some sort brain they have done so i have a start

i have notice the same thing that the macropump stops working when you enable the modio support. is their are fix coming can any one reply to this

i have now wasted over a week with this thing trying to build a pedant for my boxford 125 tcl
using two modio .
i wasted one day trying to get the keyboard matrix two work then found out that in out in all the manual they say to use pins 7,8,9,10 input but they set it up in the dll to use 9,10,12,13 that real smart . why can they keep a standard and stick with it !!.
watched the video many times cant get the analogs to work  to the dro and i have tried the macro pump and still no luck . plus cant read the inputs two the second board at all . waiting on a reply from Paul for that. is their any one close to Birmingham UK that i can come and visit for a hour or two that know how to use  :(this and it works . 0777 3324238 .

have you had the plug-in as i,m at the same spot at the moment .i have watch the video and cannot configure my a to d as feed pots as per the video please let me know .what i have to do to download it or am i missing something

VB and the development of wizards / rapid override pot that not linked to feed overide

I am new to this like all of us at first. I want a rapid over ride as well as feed over ride to use on my boxford tcl 125. is it possable and how can some one put me in the right direction please. I am using modio board and 2 of the analog ports with 12 steps on the feed pot with resistors between steps to give me 10% steps and 4 steps on the rapid so i get 25% on the rapid so i get 0,25,50,100 this would be great to testing out programs so it does not rapid in to jobs.while i,m on the subject the other thing i what to do is set up the turret to work on my lathe as well. it is a 8 station turret that is stepper driven . it index's just past the station the reverses back to lock. it has no feed back ( i think i can rig something up if needed) how do i go about this as well please put me in the right direction.
