General Mach Discussion / Mach 3 pokeys57cnc proximity switches
« on: May 23, 2022, 06:00:06 PM »
I am installing the Pokeys57cnc board in Mach 3 and I can't find anywhere on YouTube on how to install them on the board. I have a 3 wire NPN switch I am trying to install but can't see on the board how to hook them up. I also have a 3 wire limit switch that I would like to install for my homing switches. Can anyone let me know where on the board to hook these things up? Thanks

General Mach Discussion / Novosun NVCMV2.1 Controller
« on: May 19, 2022, 01:02:33 PM »
Just inquiring if anyone out there has used the Novosun NVCMV2.1 controller and could lend some information on setting up limit switches and NPN proximity switches. I have followed the YouTube videos but can't get them to work. Hoping someone out there can help. Thanks.

General Mach Discussion / Soft limits
« on: December 08, 2021, 05:34:25 PM »
Mach 3 will not let me turn on the soft limit icon. Every time I press it I get (Machine out of limits for soft limit activation.) I home in the upper right on my CNC. I have the machine coordinates set to 0.0000 for all axis's with the machine located where I would home it. I also have my soft limits set to 0.0000. I have been trying to get my soft limits set for a long time so I can use my machine with no luck because I can't seem to get the soft limits set. I have mechanical limit switches installed but when the trip I have to turn of the machine and move it off the limit switch. I don't know where I can set that so it backs off one the switch is tripped. Would rather use the soft limits.

FAQs / X axis direction
« on: April 14, 2021, 12:43:56 PM »
Does anyone have an idea why when I jog the X axis with the x- and x+ that they move in the same direction? Has anyone had that problem and if so, how do you fix it?
