General Mach Discussion / erratic behaviour after customizing screen
« on: November 08, 2013, 06:36:05 AM »
Hi All,

A friend helped me customizing my Machturn screen , sometime after that my steppers started acting in a strange erratic way.

After some experimenting it shows that running a program in the customised screen caused erratic steppers  but running the same program while in the diagnostics screen my steppers are behaving ok.

This is out of our league , i have attached  my screenfile can somebody please  help  out???

Thanks   Mark

General Mach Discussion / waiting/calculation time inbetween passes
« on: March 05, 2013, 07:01:32 AM »
Hi Guys,

I am looking for a solution for my problem:

At the end of each pass  my tool is not moving for lets say half a second : this causes extra wear of my tools. (using g01 codes)

(Mach3 seems to need some execution/calculation time before starting the next pass)

Do i need a faster computer or can i use a command/change settings  that speeds things up?

thanks
Mark
