Mach4 General Discussion / Using Y-Offsets in Lathe
« on: April 03, 2020, 09:04:26 PM »
Hi Guys,
New to the forum and Mach 4. Hoping to get some help or be pointed in the right direction.
My goal is to set up my Gantry Router with a servo spindle and gang tooling mounted on my gantry. So far I have all axis setup and running code, also using the tool offsets to change tool position. The problem is that I really need to change position on the Y axis as well. I notice that the offset can be applied in the tool table but I'm guessing that because no Y movements are called by the program that this offset is not applied. As the offsets are handled by Mach 4 surely I can turn this on somehow?
I'm very new to the script/macro thing so don't really know where to start....
Any help would be great appreciated.
Cheers,
Travis
