HI,
I'm after some help with Mach3 running an XHC controller (ethernet), Fully licensed version

I've been through all the motor tuning and the machine (3 axis router) runs smoothly when running code and or jogging with arrow keys + shift.

I've seen multiple posts on similar issues but not found a solution that works on any.

When i try entering and MDI instruction or try to use go to zero, the motors get jumpy and in most cases lose their position very quickly.

This is very frustrating and confusing as I understand the motor tuning sets the max allowable speed and when jogging at 100% the movement are perfectly smooth.

Thanks I seem to have figured it out, seems I am now able to type the spindle speed into the spindle control. I'm not sure why I wasn't able to before, it may have been as simple as num lock

General Mach Discussion / Help with spindle control setup

Hi, I have a 3 axis router, with a Chinese bob, and haunyang VFD. I have the VFD connected to BOB via 0-10v.

Output port 1, Pin 17

I issue is I can turn the spindle on with the spindle control button, however the control is showing 100% and the VFD is only running at 120hz(i have set this as the min), Max is 400hz.

When i try to increase the speed it goes up a bit but nothing more after that if i click the button again. there is also no spindle speed in any of the DRO's in spindle control??

I have tried the calibrate spindle option, and the calibration runs through various speeds, however I didn"t expect the calibration to work as there is not source of feedback from the spindle

any advise would be greatly appeciated.
