Bah  ,  your right im confused.  But I did kinda like the look of the old GUI.  It also seemed that the screen resolution was bit higher. But I will gladly trade off looks for a program that works.  This latest version seems pretty stable and is doing all I need of it. The only problem I have with the current rev is that I am color impaired and the chains that are selected are hard for me to tell from the ones that are not.

Thanks for the info,

Jeff

Here is the link,  looks nice, its a flash type video, scroll down to start it, there is a arrow there, took me forever to find the play button.

correction:  select lazycam3.0 from the left side bar.

Ok, downloaded the latest version of mach3,  it comes with 2.47,  the lazycam just under it for DL is also rev 2.47.  I still havent found
the 3.0 that the video tutorial shows off.  Any other place it may be hiding?

General Mach Discussion / usb joystick run away
« on: October 09, 2007, 10:29:23 PM »
While setting up a part to cut I bumped the joystick and it fell off the table and unplugged itself from the comp.  My mill developed a mind of its own, all axis starting running and I had to hit the emergency power down.  I use the keygrabber for input, and the latest version of Mach 3.  Not a huge issue, but for someone with a fast mill it could be.

LazyCam (Beta) / Re: Turbocad 12 DXF?
« on: August 08, 2007, 11:57:37 PM »
Discovered my problem.  The latest rev did, and didnt work.  Posting this for others who may make the same stupid mistake I made.  In Turbo I got in the habit of using "Paper Space"  instead of model space.  When I redrew my shape in model space it all worked just fine. Thanks for the quick responce.

LazyCam (Beta) / Turbocad 12 DXF?
« on: August 08, 2007, 09:12:11 PM »
I cant seem to get Turbo Cad 12 to export out a usable DXF for "Lazy"  there are 3 save level options, r14 2004 and 2006/2007.  None
of these worked.  The only way I was able to get any data into lazy was with plt output.  I know we are still in Beta and I might have to come up with some tricks to get a off brand of cad to work, but has anyone had any success with this?  I am using the "Laxycam" version that came packed with Mach 3 and purchased the pro upgrade.

Upgrading to full blown Acad is out of my budget!

Thanks for any help.
