Galil / Galil 4143 motor not moving
« on: November 09, 2018, 10:13:58 AM »
’m having some problems when trying to control a PI M-062.PD by using a DCM-4143-BOX6D3640. I have checked all my connections and they all are correct. I’m using the same controller configuration I had successfully used in another application (with same component PI M-062.PD). So, considering that connections are good and controller configuration is been proven, I’m having some troubles to determine where the problem is coming from. I can read the encoder’s information (tested by moving the motor by hand), but the motor does not move when sending the BG command.  I’m getting a position error and also a hall error (hall input =7) despite de fact my configuration specifies to ignore the hall sensor states (BRA 1).  Finally The servo motor has its own independent (external) power supply.

will appreciate any information or advice you could provide
