Try this: go into your Mach4Hobby folder and find Mach4GUI.exe. Right-click and go to Properites>Compatibility. Click 'Run this program in compatibility mode for' and choose Windows 7. Hit Apply, OK, and then try opening Mach4.

crashes on launch when GUI run several previous builds too.
tried on different computers
windows 7pro 64 (32)
intel cor2 duo 3.00 4ram 512 nvidia Ethernet SmoothStepper

Before the version4.2.0.4054  was launched but there were problems with  keyboard jog...
