General Mach Discussion / Re: Pulse Frequency

Hi Again Craig,
More screen shots:

Pgm crashes when exiting Motor tuning (using DLL V3.0b)
Using DLL V2.0a, I can adjust the motor tuning parameters, and exit the setup without the pgm crashing.   BUT still nothing changes on the diagnostic screen when entering G code.

Thanks   Jeff

Hi Craig,
Attached are some of the screens that you requested:
As for the Plugin Control, only Flash-Flash screen, V3.0b and Video are enabled.
More shots in the next reply.
Thanks   Jeff

HI Gerry,
There is nothing in the plugin "config" screen to change.  It just displays some values about the device.  I'm using Ver.-3.0b.  In the MACH3 videos, this pulse frequency is important for the proper operation of the MACH3 software.   Since, my setup is NOT responding to any commands, and the wiring has been rechecked, I have been looking for anomalies, and this is one major one that I have found.
Any other suggestions of things that I can try to get operational would be much appreciated.  I have verified that the E-Stop SW works, and non of the input signal lights are on in the diagnostic panel.  Trying to input G-Code on the input line does nothing and the QUE depth does not change.
Any suggestions??
Thanks   Jeff

HI Craig,
The NVEM is an Ethernet controller unit.   For some reason on the MACH3 Diagnostic page, the Pulse Frequency is labeled as EXTERNAL.  AS I mentioned, changing the frequency in Ports and Pins does NOT effect this.
I am looking for a way to change the EXTERNAL to some frequency around 25K+ which is supposed to be "normal".  I believe that this is the reason that my machine is not responding to any input from the MACH3 screens.
How to change this to an internal number is the issue.
Regards   Jeff

HI All,
I'm trying to get a NVEM controller system up and running and have many issues.
Currently in the Diagnostic tab of Mach3, the Pulse Frequency shows as EXTERNAL.  How/where do I change this??? to the 25K+ that is normal????  I have tried the Port & Pins screen and that has 25K checked.

Thanks in advance for your help in solving this issue.
Regards   Jeff
