SmoothStepper USB / Re: wiring limit switches

I have been trying to set up the limit switches but what ever I do I cannot get any response from the switches, they are wired as per the manual, I have motion on all axes but cannot set the limits . I have tried a second BoB and rechecked the wiring as per the manual but cannot get any switch to work . The switches seem to respond when checked with a multimeter,  still not working ,  Have I missed something, misread something or am I just going crazy??
