General Mach Discussion / Re: Mach 3
« on: May 19, 2022, 09:21:19 AM »
Running Windows 10 Home version 20H2 installed on 8/10/2020 so the version hasn't been updated automatically. The motion card is a Mach 3 USB motion card STB4100 that I bought in 2017. does that give you enough information to work with?

General Mach Discussion / Mach 3
« on: May 18, 2022, 05:06:25 PM »
I have a Mach 3 usb motion card, purchased 2017, that runs a 16x 5.5 Router bed. Went traveling for 2 months, and on returning, g code files that worked before and manual commands won't move the machine. The screen will not display the toolpath and there seems to be a new second green led by the limit switch terminals that wasn't lit up before. There is a green led in the middle of the board that lights up when I connect to the computer. The second green LED goes out when I cut power to the limit switches.
Does anyone have any Ideas about what could be wrong? I would be very grateful for some help on this.

General Mach Discussion / setup for limit switches mach 3 USB board
« on: February 12, 2018, 11:14:26 AM »
Please help me out! I Have built a 7'x16' CNC router bed for flat milling tabletops. X,Y and Z stepper motors are configured and working. Four
limit switches for x and y axis are wired in parallel as normally open. How do i configure the software ( Mach 3 with USB controlled break out board) and wiring to the board.

I have followed the instructions provided by the manufacturer and the software co. but closing one of the limit switches has no effect. I am in Central Connecticut. I would greatly appreciate help here through this forum. Also would be willing to pay for some on site help of an experienced Mach 3 user. I recently lost my right hand in a horrible wood processor accident but the CNC was almost completed before the loss.  You can reach me by text at 860-250-6742.

Mach4 General Discussion / registering Mach 4
« on: March 31, 2017, 10:01:06 PM »
I bought a Mach 3 USB board and aregistration number for Mach 4 software through Build Your Own CNC. I submitted the name I had given my computer rather than the Very long PC ID number. How do I get that fixed so The $200 I paid for the registration can be applied to the software?
