Building or Buying a Wood routing table.. Beginnners guide.. / Limit switches on a 3 axis router

I have a home built 3 axis router with a hobby CNC but ervo system.  When hitting the home switch, the servo reverses at low speed.  The machine coordinates do not reset to zero.  I know it's a rookie mistake, but it's driving me nuts.
