Hi, I'm trying to find someone near me who can help me get my machine up and running again please.
I live in Dundee Florida and have contacted several people over last 4 months to work on it with no luck, and bought many parts myself to get my machine back but I'm no expert at this. So if you live near Dundee and would like to make a few bucks, Please contact me at Krazyrabbit@verizon.net

« on: June 21, 2016, 02:03:31 PM »
Hello
I bought a
NEW 2.2KW 3HP VFD 10A 220V SINGLE PHASE VARIABLE SPEED DRIVE VSD DRIVE INVERTER to work with a  Konmison CNC Spindle Motor Kits Milling Spindle Motor 80MM 2.2KW
I cant get the darn thing to work. I've tried to get the seller to reply to my questions but all they say is "WE ONLY SELL".
I’m thinking it is the programing.
PLEASE can anyone provide me with the correct settings so I can get this up and running?
Thank you
Don

General Mach Discussion / Re: cnc training cources?

Thank you Rich for the recommendations on the books. I'm going to Amazon and check these books out as soon as I am done with this reply.
I am looking for courses that will give me a certificate and or credits that a employer will respect.
I thought that since this is a CNC form that it would be a good place to ask "what schools and or online courses will get me to where I want to be as efficiently, as I myself, can learn in the short time that I have left. I only have allotted myself till the start of the new year (2017) to achieve my goal of a CNC operator and any suggestions will be appreciated and investigated.
Thanks again
Don

General Mach Discussion / cnc training cources?

Hello,
I'm trying to break into a second career as a CNC operator.
I am very confused about what kind of on-line courses to take.
I have been going to a technical school for computer drafting this past school year and don't want to slow down for the summer but to use that time to sharpen and increase my skills.
Does anyone have experience with online classes that are good for the real world workplace?

General Mach Discussion / anyone from Winter Haven Florida?
« on: August 18, 2015, 02:15:53 PM »
Hi, I'm just a hobbyist woodworker and I'm new at this.
I have a new Romaxx CNC machine, Mach3 and Vectric Desktop software. So with that said, I'm trying to learn how to manipulate my new machine to do what I want. It is proving to be a lot harder than I thought. Is there anyone out there who lives near Dundee Florida who would be willing to help a fellow woodworker out?

Hello all, I'm new here and need a little help please.
I have a clean computer that is running Windows XP and have successfully installed Mach and have run the Drivers Test. I'm having problems when I bring Mach up it looks good but as soon as I touch the mouse it freezes up and won't move again till about 5 minutes later. Anyone got an idea of what I'm up against and how to fix it??? Thanks
